The 2016 #beamarketer workshops are designed to facilitate and support a dialog among business owners. Participants will learn how to:

plan an effective marketing strategy
implement your marketing strategy
manage marketing initiatives

You’ll also gain an understanding of your thresholds for when to “do it yourself,” “do it with help” or “have someone do it for you.”

In this presentation, you will discover the latest changes taking place within the top social media platforms and understand how they will affect social media marketing for the next 12 months. Uncover Facebook’s latest algorithm switch and how it will impact a Business Page’s organic views, and communication style. Discover the newest features LinkedIn is rolling out and how to make them work for you and your business. This presentation will also include the top 5 social media trends predicted for the next 12 months and techniques to incorporate them into your business.

Presenters
Heather Jackson is Constant Contact’s educational marketing expert in New England. Heather has more than 20 years’ experience working with small businesses and entrepreneurs, including her experience starting and building 2 of her own businesses. Heather is experienced in helping small and medium size businesses, as well as non-profits and associations with their marketing efforts including on and offline strategies. An enthusiastic speaker and trainer, Heather is a sought after presenter at local seminars as well as at large conferences and trade shows. Her regional team of expert speakers conducts seminars throughout New England on all things digital marketing including email marketing, social media marketing and the best practices for businesses to grow using online tools.

Doreen Nicastro is a digital native and small business owner of Nicastro Consultants whose mission is to empower other small business owners and nonprofit organizations through the use of social technologies. Her passion for education, creative innovation and years of application training, web development, mobile, email marketing and social media strategy experience has helped her clients grow their business and expand their digital presence. Doreen is a former instructor at Boston University School of Public Health where she taught computer application skills to international public health graduate students. Doreen is also master certified in Constant Contact which is a leader in email and engagement marketing. She loves to practice yoga, travel with her husband and family, walk with her walking buddies, and care for her grandson. She is thrilled to share her knowledge and experiences with other business owners through educational workshops.
