Brookline Restaurants: what's your spin on the famous Arnold Palmer drink?

The Arnold Palmer competition is a fun and easy way for restaurants and bars to come together to do something Town-wide for the upcoming U.S. Open! As restaurant operators know, special menu items or themes sell, and this one is an easy (and low cost) promotion.

The Competition:

Come up with your most creative version of the famous Arnold Palmer drink, typically made with vodka, lemonade, and iced tea. Seemingly simple enough, but sets the stage for any number of interpretations. We challenge you to come up with the best version of this drink!

There will be two means of measuring the winner: The first will be a small group of judges that will visit the restaurants and bars and purchase the drink to sample and rate, and the second will be the favorite voted by the community.

Promoting your drink is key if you'd like to win! All participating restaurants will be promoted via the chamber’s social media by submitting photos of their drink and restaurant, as well as listed on the Discover Brookline U.S. Open page.

Get as many of those votes from your guests as possible! Alongside your menu items, we recommend posting a QR code that we will provide, that will link to a simple form for the public to vote for their favorite version of the drink.

Timing:

Restaurant Registration Deadline: June 8, 2022
Contest and community voting: Friday, May 27th (Memorial Day Weekend) - Monday, June 20th
Winner announced: Wednesday, June 22nd
